Join Us in Worship - Come Sundays at 10:30am and join us for an inspirational sermon, beautiful
music, communal prayer, and the love of worshiping God. Children and youth begin the service with their parents. Following a joyful Children’s Moment for Worship, preschoolers through fifth grade are escorted to their Sunday School Classes -which end at 11:45am. Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers in a modern, safe space designed just for them.
How to Find Us - Our church buildings are located in the heart of town between South Street (with two front entrances) and Lovell Street (the back entrance.) We face Bronson Park and our neighbors are City Hall and The Civic Theatre. Our parking lot is found on Lovell, with additional parking on the one-way streets surrounding the church. Allow Us to Welcome You - Greeters are ready to welcome you, answer your questions before and after each service. They will meet you at each entrance into the building and point you in the right direction. Following the service, everyone gravitates to the Gathering Place, where we have a Visitor’s Table and members eager to meet you and ready to share more information about our church, even give you a tour.
The Worship Experience - As you enter our beautiful Gothic Sanctuary, a bulletin outlining the order of worship will be provided (also available in large print), and your children can choose a colorful bag of age-specific materials for the day. Ushers will be very happy to help you find a seat. We welcome all visitors and believe you will be moved by our worship service. We ask that you sign the Friendship Pad and hope that the Christian fellowship we offer is what you seek.
Help Us Get to Know You - After the service, join us for coffee and conversation in the Gathering Place, next to the Sanctuary. There you can meet congregational members and ask questions. Thank you for visiting our site, we look forward to meeting you at First Church!
