Children's
Worship
Children's Worship is an exciting new approach specifically
designed for children from four years of age through 4th grade. Youngsters
experience the presence of God by coming together in a worshipful environment
and participating through prayer, song, stories, object lessons, and other
experiences using a variety of learning styles. Children come to view
their worship time as something that happens in a "safe-place" where the
love of Christ is felt and implemented through competent and compassionate
teachers.
Children's Worship is held throughout the school
year during the regular 10:30 am Sunday service. Children start with their
parents in the sanctuary, then are dismissed with their worship leaders
following the 'Word with the Children'.
On Communion Sundays, before the services children are taken directly to Children's
Worship by their parents. They participate in their regular worship activities,
and are returned to their families before the end of the service. This
allows them to participate in communion if their families so choose.
