Guidelines

 

Property Maintenance Committee

 

 Purpose:  To manage issues related to the maintenance and improvement of church owned
                   property.

 Membership

  • A minimum of five members two of these members will be currently serving Session members, one serving as Moderator

  • Non Session members will be appointed by Committee Moderator with Session approval

  • While expertise in matters related to building and property maintenance, budgeting and insurance is helpful, it is not a requirement to serve on the Property Maintenance Committee.

  • An interest and devotion to the preservation and maintenance of our historic facility Is a requirement for serving.

  • Membership is limited to serving six consecutive years.

  • Ex officio members include Head of Staff and Building Superintendent.   

  

Meetings

  • Meetings held at 4PM the Third Monday of each month
  • Property Maintenance Meeting minutes will be prepared and reviewed at each Session meeting
  • A year-to-date budget review is included in each meeting agenda
