All-Church Fall FestivalAn All-Church Fall Festival was celebrated in Bronson Park immediately following worship on Sunday, October 30, 2005. The Men’s Fellowship served 120 hot dogs, chips, and beverages on a bright, sunny October morning when the color in Bronson Park was at its peak. The Children and Youth Committee provided cider and doughnuts. Children of ALL ages bobbed for apples and tried their skills at “fishing” for sacks of candy. Pumpkins were available for painting and decorating. This was an event that blessed community members at least three times. The food, fun, and fellowship was a special occasion in the park for our church family. The leftover pumpkins were shared with the Fifth Sunday worshipers at North Presbyterian Church later that same day while the leftover hot dogs and buns were taken to Ministry with Community on Monday. Thanks to the Presbyterian Men’s Fellowship for their culinary skills, to Jan Carpenter for rounding up the forty-five pumpkins, and to Veronica Harik of the Children and Youth Committee for providing the apples, doughnuts, and cider.
