Youth and Children

In addition to an established Sunday morning Christian education program for children of all ages, our Youth Ministry Committee sponsors fellowship programs for young people from first through twelfth grades. Rev. Wayne Conner has led this exceptional youth ministry for 29 years. Fellowship activities for children from first through third grades take place monthly. Additionally, fellowship activities for fourth through sixth grades meet weekly.

Special seasonal activities are planned throughout the year to include Christmas caroling, local sledding, trips to amusement parks, and canoe trips. Summer youth activities include vacation bible school sponsored in cooperation with other Bronson Park congregations. Our Junior and Senior High groups meet weekly on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Annual events include a youth mission trip, a weekend skiing trip, and a weekend canoe trip. The mission trips during the summer include such settings as Europe, Vermont, Arizona, Alaska, and Maine. Summer youth retreats include canoe trips to Minnesota Boundary Waters and northern Michigan.
